VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (April 14, 2011)--The United States Indoor Sports Association ("USIndoor") announced today the launch of a Mentors Program for new facility owners and startups seeking guidance and a personal connection with an experienced operator, who can help them through a steep learning curve and the myriad of everyday challenges.
The stated goals the Program are to ensure that every USIndoor member has the greatest chance to succeed by (a) offering a personal resource for new operators and startups, (b) developing an assortment of business tools and references in USIndoor's Members-Only Learning Center, and (c) promoting positive relations throughout the USIndoor facility community.
Four existing operators have already volunteered as Mentors: Ralph Shirley, American Indoor, Carrollton, TX; Teresa Federspiel, PSA StarCenter, Plano, TX; Kerry Shubert, Soccercity Tulsa, Oklahoma City, OK, and Mike Staten, WECMRD Field House, Edwards, CO.
USIndoor members wishing to take part in the Program, either as a mentor or mentee, should contact the Association at admin@usindoor.com. For more about the many features of USIndoor's Learning Center, please visit www.usindoor.com/resources/learning-center/.
