USIndoor’s 2006 Facility Operators’
Conference and Trade Show
June 22-25, Dallas, TX
Online Registration Now Open
WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The The United States Indoor
Soccer Association (USIndoor) announced today the opening of online
registration for its 2006 Facility
Operators’ Conference. Highlights include a Facility
Bus Tour, a first-time Symposium for experienced operators, separate
Workshops for existing and startup facilities, Networking, a Trade
Show and excursions to Billy Bob’s Texas in Fort Worth and Dealey
Plaza in Downtown Dallas. The Conference, USIndoor’s Sixth Annual,
begins Thursday, June 22nd, and concludes Sunday, June 25th. All
activities either take place at, or embark from, the Marriott Dallas/Addison
Quorum at the Galleria, the Conference’s host hotel.
Encompassing
the expansive multi-sport recreational industry, with an emphasis
on indoor soccer, the Conference offers an opportunity for facility
operators to share experiences and to learn some of the do’s and
don’ts of running a recreational sports facility – or even getting
one started. The Conference will divide learning sessions into two
tracts: one dedicated to existing operators and their issues and
another for startup matters. Referee certification, specific to
indoor soccer, also will be offered, plus other programming yet
to be announced.
For
vendors, the Conference Trade Show represents an invaluable opportunity
to meet with decision-makers of the industry. Based on prior years’
feedback, exhibitors agree that the quality of attendees makes this
Conference superior to many other soccer and sports trade shows.
Industry providers will exhibit and answer questions about the latest
trends, including building structures, flooring, administrative
and league software, dasher boards, apparel, alternate programming,
merchandise and many other products and services.
Said
USIndoor president Don Shapero, “The Conference answers some of
the basic needs of USIndoor’s facility and corporate members and
startups. It enables them to exchange information and ideas and
reflects indoor soccer’s growth throughout North America. In addition,
this year the Conference addresses a growing outcry from sophistocated
veteran operators, wishing to hold more exclusive and focused conversations
with their peers.” Attendance at the veteran’s Symposium will be
by invitation only and limited to a core group of qualified administrators.
The
Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association recently estimated indoor
soccer participation at 4.3 million, making it one of the country’s
top ten team sports. Having become the annual retreat for owners
and managers of indoor soccer facilities, multi-sport arenas, and
startups, USIndoor’s Facility Operators’ Conference has, likewise,
demonstrated exceptional interest and growth. Easily accessible
from across the US, as well as internationally, the 2006 Conference
is expected to have the largest turnout ever.
