2006 MISL All-STAR WEEKEND

On February 10-11, the Milwaukee Wave will play host to the 2006 Cousins Subs Major Indoor Soccer League All-Star Weekend, presented by Time Warner Cable. The event will feature the first-ever partnership with another country for an All-Star Game, as a team of MISL All-Stars take on the Mexican Federation’s National Futbol Rapido team Saturday night.

Friday evening the Wave will hold the 2006 MISL All-Star Fiesta Garibaldi Commissioner’s Dinner and auction at Milwaukee’s United Community Center with proceeds being donated to the Hispanic Community through the “Wave of Kindness” program. Bob Madden and Brian Nelson of “The Hog’s Bob and Brian Morning Show” will be the honorary emcees. Starters for the All-Star Game will also be announced.

The MISL All-Star Game showcases some of the best soccer talent in the world in a fun, yet competitive environment. It will be a great cultural event for the city, the game of soccer and for the Milwaukee Wave. Visit http://www.misl.net/allstars for additional details.
