Leighton Appointed USIndoor Director of New Media |
WASHINGTON, D.C., November 8, 2007 - The United States Indoor Soccer Association (USIndoor) announced today the appointment of Robert Leighton as its Director of New Media. With over twenty years experience in the telecommunications and broadcast business, Mr. Leighton will spearhead USIndoor's efforts to bring the latest web-based technology to its membership for the development and distribution of indoor soccer programming. Initially, Leighton's objective will be to create an online broadcast platform to be utilized as the central hub for all future indoor soccer programming on the web.
USIndoor President Don Shapero said, "Today's technological advances and ever-increasing popularity of indoor soccer enable USIndoor to achieve what we could have only dreamed of just a few years ago. In USIndoorTV, we believe we have found a solution that will not only be fun and exciting for the indoor soccer community, but be attractive to other broadcast partners and advertisers."
Leighton agreed, "USIndoorTV.com can become indoor's hub for educational seminars, home-made videos, games, even live events. Ask any teenager: Today's technology makes production easy for almost anyone with even the most modest equipment."
Those interested in learning more or placing streaming video online at USIndoorTV should contact Robert Leighton at 850-784-9942 or robert@usindoor.com.
