USIndoor Announces 2008 Conference in Washington, DC Las Vegas is 2009 Destination |
WASHINGTON, DC (November 14, 2007) - USIndoor announced today the dates and locations of its Facility Operators Conference and Trade Show for 2008 and 2009. The 2008 event, USIndoor's 8th Annual, will take place Thursday-Sunday, June 26-29, just outside of Washington, D.C. in Old Town Alexandria, Virginia, at the brand new Westin Alexandria. For the second year in a row, USIndoor will conduct a certification class for arena operators on June 25th and 26th.
Just steps from the Metro and Amtrak, providing easy access to the famous Washington Mall, to Reagan National Airport and connecting points all across America, the Westin is nestled within the beauty and quaint surroundings of Old Town Alexandria. Former stomping ground of the likes of George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Robert E. Lee and countless other historical figures, the cobblestone streets and picturesque location along Washington's Potomac River have delighted travelers for centuries. With hundreds of shops, award winning restaurants and landmarks, it's no wonder Old Town Alexandria remains one of Washington DC's most prominent tourist attractions. Historic Williamsburg, Richmond, Charlottesville, and more than a dozen indoor soccer and multi-sport facilities are also all within a few hours drive. Visit All About Metro DC for destination information, including sites of interest in Northern Virginia.
For 2009, USIndoor returns to exciting Las Vegas, Wednesday-Friday, June 24-26 (Certified Arena Operator program June 22-23.) One of the oldest establishments on the strip, the Flamingo Hotel will take USIndoor attendees back to the "way it once was" in the City of Lights. But don't be fooledWhile retaining its "old Las Vegas" charm, the hotel is recently renovated. Combining heart-pounding excitement in its huge casino, four pools with waterslides, lagoons and cascading waterfalls, a wildlife habitat, and the kind of service Bugsy Segal would be proud of, the Flamingo remains one of Las Vegas' most famous landmarks.
