USIndoor Conference Features Startup Track for New Operators

Washington, DC (May 28, 2008)—Don’t miss the opportunity to participate in a special educational Startup Track as part of USIndoor’s 8th Annual Facility Operators Conference and Trade Show, June 25-29.  The Startup Track is specifically designed for those new to the indoor recreational sports business, whether in the planning stages or recently opened.

The Startup Track features ten sessions led by industry experts and highlighted by topics such as the feasibility study, construction options, the business plan, risk management, operations and marketing.

You won’t want to miss the chance to share experiences with business leaders, such as Bryan Finnerty, of The Sports Facilities Advisory, and Norm Gill, of Pinnacle Indoor Sports.  Mr. Finnerty is the founding owner of the 120,000 square foot High Velocity Sports Center in Canton, MI, which has consistently exceeded financial projections while simultaneously developing athletes since opening in 2001, while Mr. Gill founded Soccer Blast International (with several locations nationwide) and has hands-on experience in every aspect of development and construction.  Kent Gold, of Gold Consulting, and Jim Cline, of The Goals Group, round out USIndoor’s team of professional consultants.

“We have attended the USIndoor Conference two years in a row and are currently in the fundraising stage of our facility,” said Greg Stingerie, Stadium of Stars.  “I know we would not be where we are today without the things we have learned from attending the Conferences. There is no better opportunity than meeting and interacting with other facility owners, especially those who are further along in the process.”
