USIndoor’s Referee Program Educates Officials

USIndoor is the leading supplier of national indoor soccer referees. The first rulebook that USIndoor published was in 2000 for professional leagues.  Thereafter, USIndoor published amateur editions in 2001 and 2004, each time under the auspices of a national rules committee. On Thursday, June 26th, the organization will offer an education and development referee clinic in Washington DC at USIndoor's 2008 Facility Operators Conference & Tradeshow.

The USIndoor Referee Education and Development Program is a specialized class committed to the development of indoor soccer referees for all levels of competition. Led by USIndoor’s Director of Officials, Said Sanhoury, USIndoor’s Referee Certification Program is THE certification course for indoor soccer in North America.  The course includes teachings of the Official Rules, mechanics, player and bench management, and customer service.  Along with certification comes a host of other benefits from liability and medical insurance to subscriptions to USIndoor’s Referee Newsletter and GOAL Indoor.  Facilities can doubly benefit by having their head referee gain instructor status for certifying local referees later.

Benefits Include:

  • USIndoor’s “Official Rules of Indoor Soccer”
  • USIndoor Referee Badge
  • Subscription to USIndoor’s Referee Newsletter
  • Access to Exclusive Indoor Soccer Referees’ Forum
  • Insurance Package
