STATE OF THE INDUSTRY BREAKFAST
New this year, USIndoor will be holding a formal sit-down breakfast on Wednesday—the open of the Conference’s core programming—to discuss the “State of the Industry” as it impacts USIndoor facility members. The economy, of course, is on everyone’s mind. Experts with hands-on experience and a breadth of knowledge from around the US will assess how our industry is faring, compared to related fields, and outline their expectations for the near term, including bright spots. The presenters will also use hard data compiled by USIndoor, the Sporting Goods Manufacturers Association and other sources, to discuss industry participation trends, facility design trends, advances in technology, best business practices, programming choices, cost-controls and other topics vital to sport facilities’ day-to-day operations and long-term viability.
Leading the session will be USIndoor’s professional consulting team, consisting of Jim Cline, USIndoor’s CAO Program Director and Principal of The Goals Group (Columbus, OH), Bryan Finnerty, Managing Owner of High Velocity Sports, Chairman of USIndoor’s Tournament Committee, and President of The Sports Facilities Advisory (Canton, MI), Norm Gill, former USIndoor Board Member and Member of Pinnacle Indoor Sports (Louisville, KY), and Kent Gold, CEO of Gold Consulting and SoccerTots (Spokane, WA). For additional background information, please visit Conference Bios.
Attendees will have ample opportunity to meet with presenters and mingle with other attendees throughout the rest of the day and on Thursday during a full itinerary of educational sessions and networking and social events.
