USIndoor National Conference:
Sites Set for Facility Tour

bustour1WASHINGTON, D.C. (May 8, 2006) The United States Indoor Soccer Association (USIndoor) announced today the selection of up to six facilities to be toured during its 2006 Facility Operators’ Conference and Trade Show, June 22-25 in Dallas, TX. They are Rockwall Indoor Sports & Expo, Inwood Soccer Center, Arena Athletics, The Edge Extreme, American Indoor and PSA Starcenter. A special visit to the famous “Cowboys Center” in Valley Ranch, site of the Dallas Cowboys’ training center and home to a vast collection of NFL morabilia, is also planned. The guided tour, scheduled Thursday, June 22nd, is part of the Conference’s optional programming and will last the full day. (Register at http://www.usindoor.com/facopconf06.html.)

odeumWith the exception of Rockwall, the drivetime in between each facility is relatively short, making Dallas a unique destination to learn about the industry. The tour also includes lunch at the popular Love & War in Texas. “Stops include a variety of styles, sizes and purposes of design and programming options for indoor soccer centers in one of the major hubs of the industry,” said Tour Director Jim Tolbert. Rivaled by few other locations, the Dallas area is home to 15 facilities, built from the 1980s to the present. Tolbert continued, “Participating in the tour represents a fabulous opportunity for both startups and experienced operators to take part in a unique hands-on experience, which will unquestionably benefit their operations.”

bustour2With under two months until the Conference, attendees and exhibitors can register online via USIndoor.com. Additional highlights include an invitation-only Symposium for veteran operators on Friday, June 23rd, and core programming designed for existing operators, startups and industry providers, as well as optional informal and family functions at Billy Bob’s Texas and Downtown Dallas. The Trade Show has traditionally hosted between 30 and 40 exhibitors, representing a variety of business needs. All activities either take place at, or embark from, the Marriott Dallas/Addison Quorum at the Galleria, the Conference’s host hotel, centrally located in the northern Dallas.

Updates and additional Conference details, including the latest itinerary, excursions, online registration and event history, are posted on USIndoor’s Website via www.usindoor.com. Early Registration rates (through May 15th) is $135 for USIndoor Members (non-members $175), and hotel reservations at the Marriott are available at a special $69/night.
