Twisters to Hold 2nd Annual Molly Bish Night
The
Massachusetts Twisters will hold its second annual Molly Bish Foundation
night at the Coliseum on February 18, 2006, in rememberance of local
youth Molly Bish. Molly received the most Valuable Player Award
at the conclusion of her high school junior year and loved playing
soccer, more than any other sport. Just 16, Molly was abducted on
June 27, 2000, from Comins Pond, MA, where she worked as a lifeguard.
The search for Molly went on for almost three years, until it ended
June 9, 2003. She was never found, and there have been no firm leads.
The
Molly Bish Foundation is devoted to promoting child safety through
education and related safeguards. The Foundation will hold a child
identification program prior to and after the game, with a portion
of the proceeds from ticket sales, along with a sponsorship Modern
Woodman of America, going to the distribution of child identification
kits and toward photographs and fingerprinting for local children
and their families.
