Jason oversees SFA's business and has participated on advisory boards for assets totaling more than $750 million. A licensed architect and graduate of Iowa State University (Bachelor of Architecture), he has worked with a number of noted multi-disciplined project teams - large state universities, public municipalities, private developers, Fortune 500 corporations, and federal government entities - providing his services in design, development, operations, and management. Jason has extensive experience in all aspects of planning, development, and facility operations.
Dev Pathik, Founder/Owner & CEO
Providing the stewardship and strategic direction of SFA, Dev is recognized as a leader in the industries of sports, recreation, sport tourism, corporate teambuilding, and leadership development. Dev spent more than a decade leading international climbing and adventure expeditions in some of the most remote regions in the world. Prior to starting SFA, he managed the teambuilding events and adventure sports center at Clark Sports Center (home of the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Induction Ceremony) in Cooperstown, NY, opened Global Adventures, an international ecotourism company specializing in high-altitude trekking and canoe expeditions, then opened the largest sports-based corporate teambuilding center in the U.S. at Westin Innisbrook Resort. After selling his interests in these entities, Dev went on to become a leading business development and curriculum consultant to such notable clients as Sony Pictures International, Cornell University, Joe Dumars' Fieldhouse, Wyndham Resorts, George Mason University, The Ohio State University, and a wide range of sports, tourism, and leadership development entities.

Bryan opened and owns High Velocity Sports Center in Canton, Michigan. This 120,000 sq/ft building opened in 2001 as the premier indoor soccer and roller hockey facility in the country. Today the facility is managed by Bryan’s full-time team of facility managers, staff, advertising representatives and event coordinators. A co-founder of SFA, Bryan remains a critical resource for the company as a financial and real estate consultant. He then developed and managed multiple indoor sports facilities in the Midwest. Steve has direct experience and expertise in assessing individual market potential for successful indoor sports facilities and developing business plans to help markets achieve that success. |Norm Gill, Partner, has hands on experience in every aspect of an indoor facility's development, construction and operation. He has personally operated two Soccer/Sports Blast facilities and has overseen the development, construction and operation of many others. Before founding Soccer Blast, Norm was principal owner of a construction company specializing in design/build industrial construction projects. His expertise includes location selection, construction, financing and business operation. Norm is a former member of USIndoor's Advisory Board of Directors.|
|Jim Cline, Founder and Principal
Through The Goals Group, an indoor soccer consulting firm based in Columbus, Ohio, Jim Cline has been involved with soccer teams, soccer stores, and indoor facilities for more than twenty years. A former general manager with several indoor soccer companies, Jim consults full-time for facilities all across America. He is on the boards of several youth soccer associations in two states and has operated more than 50 youth soccer tournaments. His career has included more than twenty years in real estate development, commercial design and construction for several national firms. Jim was recognized recently by Major League Soccer as one of the top 100 soccer leaders in Ohio. His practice is limited to indoor soccer facilities and their related operations. He has been the featured indoor soccer speaker at the Athletic Business Conference. In addition to current projects in Illinois, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, Indiana, California, Georgia, and Texas, Jim recently designed and opened The Soccer Spot in Grand Rapids, Michigan, one of the largest and most modern facilities in the United States. He is also an indoor soccer consultant to indoor equipment manufacturers and vendors as well as development groups, non-profit organizations, and municipal parks and recreation departments.
|Mike Weis, Owner, Developer, and Manager of the Epic Center
The Epic Center is a 90,000 sq. ft. multi-sport recreational facility indoor/outdoor sports facility, located in Williamsville, New York. Built in 1996, the Epic Center's activities include basketball, field hockey, football, in-line hockey, lacrosse volleyball, tae kwon do, outdoor soccer and, of course, indoor soccer. Formerly with M&T Bank, Mike has started and sold businesses in equipment leasing, real estate, computer systems and custom software distribution. He was the director of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Programs and workshops at the Center for Entrepreneurship at Canisius College. In connection therewith, he aided Western New York entrepreneurs in the development and implementation of their business plans. Mike's consulting work continues throughout North America.
