The Association That Wrote the Rules
Founded in 1998 as the United States Indoor Soccer Association, USIndoor set the standards the indoor game runs on: field dimensions, markings, signals, goals and rules of play. In 2001 the association published the first edition of “The Official Rules of Indoor Soccer, Amateur & Youth Edition.”
The online certification program carries that work forward. Referees train against the same standards facilities across the country use, which makes a USIndoor badge a credential operators recognize.
Liability coverage while you work
Active referees receive $1 million in general liability coverage with no deductible and $25,000 in supplemental medical coverage with a $500 deductible.
A credential you can show
Certification comes with an official USIndoor referee Velcro patch and standing on the national roster of certified officials.
Training on demand
You get full access to the certification course and every supplemental material, available whenever you have time.
The official rulebook in hand
A hard copy of “The Official Rules of Indoor Soccer” ships with your certification.
Access to the wider association
Certified officials join the USIndoor membership network and resource library, including referee training materials and de-escalation resources.
Stay certified for $49/year
After the first year, renewal costs $49 at the standard badge level. That keeps your certification, your liability coverage and your spot on the national roster current.
